This time I'm gonna review a sample from Etude House. Yup. I don't know if it really counts as a review. But I wanted to share my thoughts on that one. Just count it as a first impression review as I might or might not purchase the whole-size product and this might actually show the reason why. Also, it is not mentioned which shade was offered to me, but based on the results, I assume they sent me the lightest shades for all 3 types of the BB creams.
So, this review is about the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream and it came in that format. It actually consists of 3 BB cream samples:
1. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Blooming Fit
2. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Cotton Fit
3. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Perfect Fit
Let's go and see if which one of these 3 is the best "fit" for me :D
What was practical about this sample is that they are easily detached and can be used individually at your convenience. But we don't get to choose the shade we want and it can get quite messy.

This was the first one I tested. The formula was slightly thick and had a brownish yellow undertone to it. It had a slight floral scent that was quite similar to the Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion in Magic Pink.

At first sight, I thought it would be darker than my skin tone, which would be surprising since Korean brands, as you know, make really light shades. However, despite its appearance, it blended quite well into my skin complexion on application. It was actually brightening and had a slight white cast, but not as much as other foundations or cushions I've used in the past. It had very good coverage, concealing my blemishes quite well, but felt slightly thick on my face. Maybe that was due to the freaking heat outside on the day I used it. Moreover, it didn't make my skin oily and protected it from the heat and sunburns since it had SPF 30. I can say my makeup looked good and lasted quite a long thanks to it.
Would I purchase it? Probably. Because of its very good coverage.

How to apply
The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Cotton Fit is pretty much similar in appearance and in scent when compared to the one in Blooming Fit. However, on application it has a more matte finish than the latter. There is no celebrity dewy look with this one. It had medium coverage. I still had to use some concealer over it. Since it gave me a matte porcelain doll-like appearance, I had to layer it with some loose powder that matched my skin complexion to look normal. My face looked so flat with that BB cream. Contouring is necessary and maybe some illuminator to give more dimension. It doesn't have that much of a white cast but still, I thought it changed the way my face looked to the point it didn't look natural. Depending on the lighting I was in, the appearance of my face changed. My skin complexion would be the natural at times and porcelain-like when I was in a darker place.
Nonetheless, it was long-lasting, and my makeup was pretty much the same after more than 5 hours with no touch-ups. It's suitable for oily to combination skin, which I have and hot and humid climates like Mauritius, which is rare but this shows it has a good formula and also SPF 30 PA ++. Despite running around and being in a hot environment on that day, my makeup still looked good in my opinion.
Would I purchase it? Probably. Because it lasts longer in hot and humid environments, but a darker shade would be preferable. I recommend it for those who prefer a matte finish.
After skin care, apply on entire face and softly tap.

The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Perfect Fit had that nude appearance that was somewhat lighter than the above two. It was very fluid, not thick at all in texture. It had a very faint barely-there floral scent.
As for how it looks on my skin, I was really satisfied of the finish. It had that satin and dewy finish, without looking overdone at the same time. It was the best dewy and most natural finish I ever had with a Korean BB cream so far, which is rare. It was the one that suited my skin tone the best, I would say. It didn't make it look thick or clog my pores. My face didn't look weird as the other ones since there was no white cast. My face appeared fresh and so natural. It had a medium coverage but layering a bit more made my scars and pimples less visible. Even if I had to use more concealer than with the Blooming Fit, I still preferred the finish of the Perfect Fit, overall. It lasted a long time and I didn't have to touch up, considering it's burning hot outside.
Would I purchase it? Definitely. As its name says, it is the Perfect Fit for me. In terms of barely-there scent, dewy finish and lasting power.
Conclusion
Overall, I did enjoyed all 3 BB creams. Thank You Etude House! But in the end, even if I tried samples only this time, I'd say that the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Perfect Fit was the best for me. I loved how natural it made me look, compared to the Cotton Fit and Blooming Fit Versions. But if you wanna go for more coverage or more matte finishes, the Cotton Fit would be best for you. But seriously, if I had to choose to buy a full size BB cream, I'd straight up buy the Perfect Fit. However, I'll have to wait as I've just purchased the Precious BB Cream Cover and Bright Fit which Etude House released for its 10th Anniversary. So, watch out for my first impressions on that one. The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Perfect Fit had that nude appearance that was somewhat lighter than the above two. It was very fluid, not thick at all in texture. It had a very faint barely-there floral scent.
As for how it looks on my skin, I was really satisfied of the finish. It had that satin and dewy finish, without looking overdone at the same time. It was the best dewy and most natural finish I ever had with a Korean BB cream so far, which is rare. It was the one that suited my skin tone the best, I would say. It didn't make it look thick or clog my pores. My face didn't look weird as the other ones since there was no white cast. My face appeared fresh and so natural. It had a medium coverage but layering a bit more made my scars and pimples less visible. Even if I had to use more concealer than with the Blooming Fit, I still preferred the finish of the Perfect Fit, overall. It lasted a long time and I didn't have to touch up, considering it's burning hot outside.
Would I purchase it? Definitely. As its name says, it is the Perfect Fit for me. In terms of barely-there scent, dewy finish and lasting power.
Conclusion
Overall, I did enjoyed all 3 BB creams. Thank You Etude House! But in the end, even if I tried samples only this time, I'd say that the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream-Perfect Fit was the best for me. I loved how natural it made me look, compared to the Cotton Fit and Blooming Fit Versions. But if you wanna go for more coverage or more matte finishes, the Cotton Fit would be best for you. But seriously, if I had to choose to buy a full size BB cream, I'd straight up buy the Perfect Fit. However, I'll have to wait as I've just purchased the Precious BB Cream Cover and Bright Fit which Etude House released for its 10th Anniversary. So, watch out for my first impressions on that one.
