REVIEW: Innisfree Coconut Bio Cellulose Masks

Hi Beauty Lovers!!!

Back to K-beauty reviews!!!

Sheet masks are a staple in K-Beauty and you can't afford to skip that step, at least once a week, if you wanna have that Natural Glow. To be honest, I love sheet masks. I always have tons somewhere in my room. I have to use one of those during the weekend. So refreshing and relaxing.

This time I'm trying 3 sheet masks from Innisfree that are not quite talked about online and I wanted to try them. These Innisfree Coconut Bio Cellulose Masks are part of an exclusive series of sheet masks based on coconut. And as an island girl, I gotta love those coconuts for sure.

These are available on innisfreeworld.com and retail at a price of  $4.50  each.

What it is
- Coconut bio-cellulose made from fermented coconut water is a naturally-derived sheet that comfortably adheres to facial skin as if wrapping it in a second skin, and keeps it moisturized all day with the capacity to maintain abundant moisture.
- Combination of coconut water and coconut oil provides dry skin with moisture, and forms a moisture film to soften skin.
How to use
1. After cleansing, use toner to refine skin texture.
2. Unfold and remove film from one side of the mask.
3. Place the mask on the face, avoiding eye and lip area.
4. Remove the outer film.
5. Leave on for 10-20 minutes.
6. Discard the mask and gently pat for further absorption.

Packaging

All 3 masks come in square-shaped packaging. Nice quality. With yummy coconut pictures on them. I love ice cold coconut water during summer. :D However, each has  a different colour code and background. Green for soothing, Brown for nourishing and blue for hydrating.

The packaging can be easily open by peeling off from the "Easy peel" side.

The Mask

The mask comes out of its packaging folded in between two mesh films. To use the mask you have to unfold and remove the film from one side of the mask. Place the mask on your face and remove the outer film. Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. Discard the mask and gently pat for further absorption.
The mask itself feels like having dumpling skin on your face which is kind of weird. It is very gooey and sticky. But it sticks well to the skin such that you don't have to worry about it falling off your face like other masks that just slide off as you move. You could easily work out or do some yoga with it on :D

I actually wrongly used it the first time. I left the films on the mask and looked like a gangster with those mesh films on my face XD Very Funny.

My Thoughts

The masks have a faint coconut scent. Not as strong as the regular masks. Does not itch or sting or irritate my skin. After using them, my face was brighter, plump and felt very well nourished. It is difficult to tell the difference either of the 3 masks. They are all very effective at bringing that extra moisture to the skin. The masks themselves feel like skin on the skin, if you get what I mean. They also fit my face very well.

Conclusions

Overall, I love those masks and totally recommend them. They are slightly on the more expensive side compared to the regular sheet masks from Innisfree but they are definitely worth it, quality-wise. The real squeeze masks, for instance, feel like having some cheap cloth on the face now, lol. But Innisfree always have some cool promotions going on. So do check it out :)

Stay Beautiful and Sweet
